musical theatre update

We are very proud of all of our graduates here at ED5INTERNATIONAL and pride ourselves on the fact that we create triple threats who work in every area of the Entertainment Industry. We would like to take some time to point out some exceptional achievements our graduates have made in MUSICAL THEATRE in the past 12 months:

 

ED5International Graduate
Bobby Fox

Bobby Fox graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2002 and since that time has been hugely successful both as a commercial dancer and in Musical Theatre.

His Musical Theatre credits include Dusty, Mamma Mia and Spamalot. He is currently starring in “Jersey Boys” playing Frankie Valli and has done so since the show began in Melbourne last year. He will move to Sydney in the coming months to continue in this role.

Chloe Zuel

Chloe graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2007 and immediately landed herself a lead role as Singer in a new show at Universal Studios Japan. Her contract was renewed and after 2 years in Japan she recently returned to Australia.

Upon returning she auditioned for “Hairspray” and was offered a role in the new Australian production which is in rehearsal in Melbourne at the moment due to open by the end of the year.

Jordan Pollard

Jordan graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2007 and since that time has been one of the most in demand commercial dancers in Australia working in every medium and for just about every pop star that Australia has crossed our shores.

In addition to this he has forged a name for himself in Musical theatre first appearing in “Guys and Dolls” and then in Wayne Scott Kermond’s “Candyman”. Jordan is currently appearing in “West Side Story 2010” covering the lead role of Riff.

Danielle Cook

Danielle graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2006. She is one of Australia’s most sought after dancers in the commercial world and has danced on every television show and works in every medium.

Danielle made the Top 40 of “So You Think You Can Dance” and impressed Kelley Abbey so much that she cast her in the current production of “Fame!”.

Heath Keating

Heath graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2006 and has been in high demand ever since. Most prominently Heath made it to the Top 20 of “So You Think You Can Dance” 2009 and was an audience favourite.

After impressing so much on the show Heath was offered a part in the new Musical “Hairspray” currently rehearsing in Melbourne.

Emily Cascarino

Emily graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2009. She immediately went into the current production of Mamma Mia and she has been touring with the show ever since.

Emily covers all 3 of the younger lead female roles and has been on for the lead of “Sophie” many times.

Shannon O'Shea

Shannon graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2006 and immediately went on to a new cruise ship as the originating cast. Since returning she has worked exhaustively in every different field of the Entertainment Industry.

She is currently appearing in the new production of “Fame!” and will also travel to China next month to represent Australia in a cultural/artistic exchange.

Deanna O’Leary

Deanna graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2005 and since that time has been in high demand. She immediately went in “The Lion King” and can been seen in numerous television commercials and media campaigns.

Deanna is currently appearing in “Wicked” the musical and has been a cast member since it began in Melbourne over 2 years ago.

Robert Walters

Robert graduated from ED5INTERNATIONAL in 2008 and immediately was cast as a dancer on a cruise ship for Grayboy Entertainment.

Since returning he has been working constantly and was recently seen in the new Australian Musical “Beaudy”. Robert will travel with Shannon O’Shea next month to China for the same cultural/artistic exchange.
